Introduction and PP/goals

- Read Fisher's Ghost/Skellig
- Grammar (past tense)

Homework: Character Tracer + read the text/35 pages in Skellig


As the character tracer you should, in your own words, describe a character from the book. Give examples on how you think he or she is as a person, perhaps nice or horrible. You need to tell why you think that. To prove your point you need to describe him or her with the use from an episode in the book where the characters personality is displayed, either in personality or in the way he or she acts. Is it possible to find some connecting things between yourself and the character? If so write about this connection and if not explain why you think not.


Week 41
- Read Bob's Secret / Skellig
- Grammar (past tense)
- Summarizer
- Start writing the ghost story/argumentative text

Homework: Summarizer + read the text/35 pages in Skellig


As the summarizer you should write a summary of what has happened in the story, in those pages you have read for each week.

Week 42

- Read House of Rats/Skellig
- Grammar (past tense)
- Creative Connector
- Write on your ghost story/argumentative text

Homework: Creative Connector + read the text/35 pages in Skellig


As the creative connector you need to find something in the text where you can find a connection between the story and something from real life, and write it down. This means you can get a scene from the book and tell about it and then tell something from real life which is similar to this scene.Then write why you think they could be connected to each other.


Week 43

- Read Late at Night/Skellig
- Grammar (Past tense)
- Wordfinder
- Write on you ghost story/argumentative text

Homework: Wordfinder + read the text/35 pages in Skellig


As a wordfinder you should look for difficult words in the text and translate them into Swedish, and with
these words you make a wordlists. You need to find at least 20 words. With the use of 10 of those words
you should write down your own sentences where you put them in, in order to make them more
understandable. You can not take the sentences in the book, you must create new ones. Finally you
should create some kind of wordgame where you use the words you have found in the book.

Week 44

Autumn holiday (free from school)

Week 45

- Read A short detective's story/Skellig
- Grammar (past tense)
- Write on you ghost story/argumntative text / peer review

Homework: Study for the test + write on your ghost story/argumentative text

Week 46

- Scary test
- Hand in your ghost story/argumentative text
- Record a movie when discussing whether ghosts/vampires exist or not?
