A doctor says that it's always hard to do an ultrasound and see that something is wrong with the baby. The virus Zika is affecting many children today, children born with the Zika virus tends to have small heads with undeveloped brains. By ultrasound you can't figure out exactly what will go wrong to the baby, you don't know if the baby will be able to walk, to talk or too see. The final diagnose comes after birth and that is why the doctor says that even if the doctors sees that there is a chance that the baby will be diagnosed nothing is sure until the baby is born. She also says that she doesn't wanna destroy the hope for the mothers and therefor she doesn't want to assure anything. Today there is no surgery or developed medicine that can be used to cure the children and other people with the virus, different kinds of therapy is the only thing that can help a little bit. The Zika virus was found in a Forest in Uganda called Zika and that's why they named the virus after the forest. The virus is getting spread across South America explosively fast and is getting spread by mosquitoes. Scientists in Uganda are working hard to find out more about the virus and a cure.

SvaraRaderaThe terror group ISIS do not like the Yazidi, a people following an ancient religion. Therefor, when they capture people of this religion, they kill the men and rape the women. The soldiers believe that raping a woman ten times will make her muslim. In this news article the reporter has spoken to a girl they call Noor. She said that she was raped by eleven men and that they, before raping her, told her that it was a rule to rape the women and kill the men that don't convert to islam. Women are traded, sold for weapons or given as a gift to different ISIS-soldiers. Many theologians, people who study religion, strictly say that what ISIS is doing has absolutely nothing to do with islam.
I think that what ISIS is doing to these women is horrible. I very much agree with those who claim that ISIS actions have nothing to do with islam. Only rape itself is a huge crime to me, but when you say that you are doing it in the name of a religion that is anti-rape, I think the crime becomes even worse.

North Korea has built a nuclear weapon that is capable of killing a lot of people. It is a rocket with capabilities of launching a missile towards an other country. In the USA they are worried that the North Koreans will launch the weapon to the USA. They have built several missile defenses and they also cooperate with other countries in order to be able to see when North Korea starts fueling the weapon.
I think that it is bad that the North Koreans are prepared to launch a weapon, because those type of things often lead to conflicts and in worst cases war. If they launch this weapon millions of people can die, and it is saddening that they choose to kill innocent lives.

SvaraRaderaDonor nations meeting in London have pledged more than $10bn to help Syrians affected by the five-year conflict, UK Prime Minister David Cameron announced.
He said the money (£6.8bn) would provide millions in Syria with "life-saving" food, medical care and shelter.
More jobs and schooling would be provided for refugees in neighbouring countries, he said.
I am very glad to know that people want to help the syrian people.

SvaraRaderaThis news article is about boko haram and what they did to the people in past year and recently.
On Monday there was 85 people killed, 16 others were missing and 59 others were injured. They said that there were some woman were kidnapped by the boko haram gunmen.
The attack happened right after their prayers and then the gunman came in to their village and started to burn down their houses. Some people were burned alive in their houses during the attack. The militant group has always attacked the nation's north for years.
Last year the boko haram claimed the morbid title of the deadliest terror group for it's killing in Nigeria,Chad and Cameroon.
The extremist group based in northern Nigeria killed 6644 people in 2014.
I think that's it's awful that they have killed all those people that has done nothing to them. What do they get by killing people. Just because I don't like some people doesn't mean that I will go kill them.

The news item was about two men going out of their car at the stop light after saying some rude comments to each other. One man had a long pole and the other one with a baseball bat then they just started fighting like they were in star wars in the middle of the highway. But now the police department are searching for both suspects and no charge has been filed
I think that both of the men could/should have taken this like grown men and not fight like children. I am a teenager and if someone says something bad to me or if I said something bad a person I would talk to them not get in a fight like the grown men did.

SvaraRaderaThe international conference on Syria in London had an opportune moment to remember that all wars, in particular this most catastrophic conflagration, are measured by their human cost. A Little palestinian girl who's name is Aya Kassem is a seven-year-old refugee from Damascus. A mortar attack mutilated her leg which had to be amputated. Courageously, and after a series of operations, Aya has learned to walk again. Her fortitude and sheer enthusiasm at the prospect of continuing her education are humbling.
It's really sad that people have to go through this kind of conflicts. This is just a minimum of everything that is happening around the world. Everybody that's exposed to horrible things like this, are humans like you and me. And it's kind of scary that the humanity goes against humans on this way. But I'm happy, it warms my heart when the victims are struggling through attacks and supports all in the same situation as a family.

Lost lion of Ethiopia was found. Evidence of their presence had never been found in Ethiopia's alatash national park, were it was seen as a lion habitat. Now a wildlife expedition has found a hidden population of lions. They found evidence like footprints but they didn't see any lions around. But they did manage to take a photograph. The african lion population was reduced by 40% over the past 20 years and they said that every single population is really important.
It's very impressive and interesting that the had found a lion population in Ethiopia.

SvaraRaderaGene editing embryos.
UK fertilization researches have gotten the approval to carry out gene editing DNA on donated embryos. The experiment was first made in China, in order to correct a human gene that was carrying a blood disorder. China is the first country in which this experiment has gone through a problem free regulatory system and has been approved, therefor Chinas results will work as guidelines to other scientists. The experiment will be held at the Francis crick institute in London and will take place on the first seven days after fertilization of the embryos. The main point of the experiment is to understand the early stages of human development. Of course it is illegal for the scientists to imbed a modified embryo into a woman and the donated embryos will be destroyed after seven days when the experiment is done.
I think that it is a bad idea because it gives people the possibility to design their babies and in the long run this would mean that a new social class would be made, where the designed babies will be superior because they're made to be perfect.

Sweden vs Russia, an new cold war.
After an Russian airspace had been spotted near Stockholm, the capital of Sweden, the Swedish military have reason to feel threatened by Russia. Therefor they will eventually send military units to Gotland, as an answer to the Russian threat, we will not leave Gotland undefended. Mical Byden is Sweden's top General, a supreme commander, he often asks himself what the Russians are up too and why they do it. Stefan Petterson are born and raised on Gotland and is a Swedish Lt colonel. Stefan will take charge of Gotland's new battle group. He sees this as a comeback since he hasn't been in the army for 10 years. It's a small chance that a Russian invasion will be tried but Mical Byden are confident when he says that Sweden will raise a significant threat, if they come here it will hurt and it will hurt bad.
I think that it is unnerving to have a Russian threat hanging above our heads. But i'm certain that Sweden will do anything to avoid conflict whit the Russians.

SvaraRaderaThe newspaper article I read was about a young asylum seeker who stabbed a Swedish woman which lead to her death. The boy is 15 years old and is in police custody but he hasn't been identified yet. The 22 year old woman worked at the refugee center where the boy lived and was supposedly a with 8 boys from the young male resident. And police suspects that it was only one boy involved but the other 7 ones are being questioned too according to Hans Lippen a police spokesman.
I think that this is horrible. It gives a bad reputation to immigrants which is bad for other immigrants that comes to this country in the need of a good home where they can redo their lives and start over. And when these things happen parties as Sverigedemokraterna get more credibility and more proof to why they want to decrease the amount of immigrants that comes to Sweden.
The news item I saw was about a woman named Maheen Rahman and she is on of the most successful asset manager and one of the youngest CEOs in Pakistan. Which is usually men. It was mentioned in the news item that her biggest challenge was to build a good reputation and trust to an industry that values people with grey hair and that their male.
I think that Maheen is brave because she goes after what she wants and managed to become one of the most successful ones in the company she works for even though she's a woman. And that's something that inspires me.
